| Desfir Territory |
![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Ikatus Creek Set amidst the thick cut pines of the Nothern forests, the creek rides a ten mile line, meaning its unforested tip reaches to the Southern region and is one of many segments of Lake Eden. It is the Desfir's main supply of water, although an unreliable one during the summer. There are stepping stones for those who wish to cross it but most decide to brave the current rather than try their luck on slick stones.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Sagin Wood Crossing the creek brings you into the Western area of Desfir territory. The pines recede and give way to evergreen, fir and a few misplaced oak tress that create the Sagin wood. The vegetation is typically lush and verdant regardless of the seasonal change and with the spacious woodland setting it gives off an ambiance of limitless freedom to roam. Light is never scarce as if filters through the divided branches leaving the path lit with its own mystic.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Moorland Heights Though lacking the majesty of the Innis Field, the Moorland heights are easily the runner up. Plentiful game though slightly more difficult to catch. The turbulent winds are prone to erratic change which can make it harder on the predators – this and the lack of cover do not help. The land dips and rises and the uneven ground acts against the sure-footed animals with gopher holes and other burrowing creatures.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Opal Cave There is water on the floor which implies the cave is beneath Lake Eden. The walls glitter with black opals and their trapped rainbows even though there is no actual light to cause them to flicker so. The cave is long and some say that despite its beauty it’s a path straight to hell. Others beg to differ for they’ve reached the end of the cavern to find, erected on a dais, is one massive opal. The powder pink stone is sometimes called the wishing stone because legend says once every five full moons whoever lies beneath it can make a wish and it will come true.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Fukumaden Pass Fukumaden's direct translation is 'abode of Demons', that in and of itself warrants caution when entering this area. It had a different name, back when all was harmonious but when a half-crazed wolf was rejected by both packs it died here and released the demons it had brought from afar into the territory. It's a dark forested place that leads into the mountains overlooking Lake Eden. It is roughly a days walk or perhaps a few hours run. For many it is a test of strength, endurance and sanity for all things here seem to strain the mind and tax the body.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Lake Eden The largest expanse of water on the isle lies near the center of the landscape, effectively seperating Desfir and Soltaris territory. The lake isn't essentially large, but is big enough to be rather noticeable from a distance. More than anything, it is it's depth that interests the wolves - relics of an ancient world have been retrieved from the murk. This area retains a strange mystic about it that sends shivers down the spine of the most gallant wolves for despite its otherworldly beauty and calm, something about this lake is exudes danger.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Moon tree Hill No one is entirely sure who created this structure or why but it sits at the top of the tallest of the loner land hills where you get a clear view of the Ikatus Creek before it disappears among the forest. You can also glimpse the Innis field from here as well. Sitting on this hilltop is not a tree as the name suggests but a statue carved from a stone that has slightly sunken into the earth having resided there so long. Crafted in the shape of a crescent moon with presumably a human face, it’s withered and old but still nice to look at.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Solomon's Dias This place is often referred to as hallow ground due to the fact that in the ancient time when man fought beast, felled wolves were buried here. This no longer applies for wherever you did you're likely to unearth the remains of a buried warrior. A circular structure rests on the overhang, perfectlybalanced and overlooking Lake Eden. In the center is a small basin of water. It's a relatively secluded area and not many hang around.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Hussan Everglade This marshland territory is closer to Soltaris territory than it is to Desfir. A five mile trek will bring you near the Innis field if you follow the winding marshland tributaries. It isn’t necessarily a marsh though, due to the murky waters and unruly vegetation it gives off such an impression. The atmosphere here is rather muggy in all other seasons, winters a cold and the air frigid. During the warmer months you may catch sight of gators lingering about, waiting patiently for unsuspecting animals to wander too close.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Swishing Willows Despite the calm that surrounds this area it is not likely to be a place you will visit often without someone at your side. Located just beyond the everglade there is water around here though not deep enough to pose a problem. Females be warned, roving males with an appetite for fear and forcing their will on others, are known to lurk behind the curtains of these gnarled trees. The perfect supply of cover allows others to sneak around, virtually unnoticed. It is not uncommon for lone females to be kidnapped and brought to other territories.

| Soltaris Territory |
![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Spirits rest The outermost portion of Soltaris territory has been given its name because of the restless souls that flock here. This portion of forest has a very surreal atmosphere. Regardless of the time of day mist this area remains fairly dark with only the most persistent of rays penetrating the fold of branches. Mist rolls through at all hours and some even say the wind harbors the souls of the dearly departed. Their wails fill the air at night and during the winter their shadows flicker about the trees as they become more active.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Innis Field A glade divides the Spirit’s Rest from the remainder of Soltaris territory but it’s a prize to be envied. Innis field expresses the artistry of nature and it is here that is most relaxing to wolves. During the warmer months it’s a magnet to various prey animals that come to graze or set their homes in the field. Its open expanse leaves no cover for predator or those whom they are stalking which can leave both at a disadvantage. During the winter it is a cold, somber place blanketed in white which also gives the adolescents a place to frolic.

![[ ]](http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn33/onekyh/sway/old.gif) | Siren's Grotto Water leeks along the floor but as you make your way further in the ground becomes hard and dry. Stalagmites grow in bunches and rise to create a jagged path. The cavern has craters in the top which allows light to stream through the darkness and light the way, while at the same time allowing snow and water to build. Where the protruding rocks are smoothed away leaving only wrinkled stone it’s a nice place to curl up and sleep. The winds whistle teasingly and some have compared the noise to a land Siren’s coaxing song. The cave is long, seemingly unending and some have actually found bones of other animals that lost themselves in the maze of tunnels.
